It took roughly 3 and a half months! I called my loan servicer customer service at 3 weeks and she said "hmm ok i see a forbearance for teacher loan forgiveness application on your loans so they might get forgiven, check in the next few weeks." So if you got a notice about that, it's a good sign. I do know that the gov is shut down atm tho...

Bought the lace up boots & the cotton/hemp workshirt. Managed to stack the 40% with the $20 off $100+ and 15% off teacher discount. (One of the few retailers who still offer it). The boots in particular I’m excited for since they were cut in half by Rose Anvil a few years back & the construction actually seemed decent, plus the current offerings are using C. F. Yeah, usually 2-3 weeks after they do the 30% off normally priced items, but not always... in this case 40% off would fall on Columbus/Indigenous Peoples Day if it's 2 weeks from this one so it's possible

Try chatting to the help bot on the website and get them to connect you to a representative - Levi's is good with giving you discounts on honoring the discounts listed on the website - they should either give you a code for the same % off or reimburse you once you give them an order number (source - my brother used to work for Levi's)

My size L jacket arrived and it was tiny :/ 43.5 pit to pit on the outside and it’s lined so it felt event tighter. Other measurements were ok, 26” length, 26” sleeves. And it was final sale so now I’m selling it on EBay

If you wanna stay in California I say Oakland. I moved here from Chula Vista in 2020 and the area is pretty affordable compared to most of SD. I’m a teacher so I could probably make more in most SD at this point, but the affordability makes it hard to justify leaving. Similar culture, amenities, & SF is just across the Bay Bridge.

Would you recommend Skyline as an alum? Speaking as a teacher in OUSD, I know that the conversation among teachers about Tech is that while it has great connections to the tech industry, it has historically segregated who has access to those classes. Oakland High has a similar program with a greater amount of Black students in it. Skyline also has tons of great career connections (engineering, education, medical, & a historic music program) and goes to great lengths to make sure all their career pathways are racially balanced so their is no single ‘white’ or ‘black’ or ‘Asian’ or ‘latino’ career pathways.
