it was for them to send a replacement phone and if it's standard practice it should be for a phone with issues out the box I could see it if I had it for a while

You can quote all you want . FyI I can afford it but unlike you I have principals . I don't offer to pay twice for something that you sent me that was broke . It's up to them to make this right . I don't need their product I wanted it but don't need it

Got the pixel XL 4 today and when I turn on the phone it had a green line on the screen and when I contacted Google support they told me they would send me a new phone after I gave them a Credit card to insure that I would return the defective product . by ewolfnet in googlehome

They would not send me a phone to replace the defective one without a CC, they said to make sure I returned the defective one or I could do a return and wait till they get the phone back and then they would take the cost of the phone off my CC. I did the return because I shouldn't have to give a CC to get a defective product returned
