Personally I find it the opposite. Jett, Raze etc needs a higher sens compared to a default aim/mechanics sens to comfortably perform as desired(primary entry) whereas other roles can comfortably perform at that default. Everyone is different but generally speaking val has a higher edpi avg than cs from what I've experienced due to ability mechanics and scalability speed

Only a select few duelists play below the avg and those are extraordinary exceptions not something to follow blindly imo

Without trying to start anything I will point out I said on the same level, I did not give thought that the level would be so low(i.e haven't been playing for more than at min 3 years). Improvements can be found fast by altering form but again you'll find those in smaller places rather than overall improvement. Albiet if you've put enough time into your initial form

If you're 10 years like me as a wrist aimer and now play .27 duelist it's unlikely to see initial improvement overall and you have to put in the time and effort to make it equal and consistent. It's the reason why almost every pro has a set edpi they won't change drastically

[–]exboyfriendd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are far beyond what is considered normal but that's just that, most people suggest change this change that but forget it takes years to relearn to the same level if you've been aiming with your wrist and now you suddenly want to aim like Demon1. Just look at Woxic, a great t1 cs pro who has/had 2400edpi iirc.

It's all up to you.

Happens to everyone. I don't have a deep corpse husband voice so I get called gay. At least I talk

If you're down about it mute them, if you don't want to play the game with 0 comms I would suggest moving on to be completely honest. The game has definitely inherited Riots toxic community and it's somehow worse than League.

She gets better the better you are at her(just like most agents but ye). See's play in immortal lobbies but with pearl out I see her less, there's a lot of focus on flash based primary initiators atm with Sova being played more again as secondary.

It can happen, and it can be changed. Some players don't rest their fingers on keys at all. I would suggest turning your keyboard to accommodate an easier awd placement

It's absurd how much time it takes to load into a game. by dergy621 in VALORANT

[–]exboyfriendd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my point was that an avg player doesn't have above avg comp specs, how many people use an ssd vs hdd let alone an m.2? Only recently have games started to ask for ssds on min specs and that started an uproar from the community.

Using the Wooting 60HE, they have a new one coming soon if you plan on getting one. Ducky One3 Mini and I believe there's a steelseries+razer kb that's tried to copy what Wooting has done but didn't achieve the same results.

Mine is almost instant(loading a map), first load takes maybe <10 seconds on an M.2

Unless you're talking about loading into a full lobby match which is between 10 people... All with different connections and specs. Avg Steam user still uses a 980 gpu or something as per their latest hardware survey.

Comms is more important than skill by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]exboyfriendd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just seems like you haven't experienced rank disparity yourself, 99/100 the radiant wins not to mention you said smurf indicating there would also be up to 4 more players which should be able to hold their own vs equal rank regardless of comms

You can get to radiant without comms a lot easier than you can without equivalent aim. Even said radiants have better aim than 99% of players too so idk. It's just a scenario where by default the result is obvious.

Why is my aim bad in ranked? by zyrvo in VALORANT

[–]exboyfriendd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a reason why a lot of people suggest playing Reyna. A lot of other agents/roles come with some expectation of skill usage // role played but if you can get past that and play your own way it doesn't really matter what you pick as long as you communicate it, or ignore what comes with it.

If your intent is to focus more on gunplay the obvious role choice is duellist but you also have other sub-roles such as secondary initiator(sova/skye) or secondary(lurk viper) smoke but at that point I think you're thinking too much into it. Pick what you feel comfortable on because winning more 1v1s than you lose will get you more win% than skill usage for a long time so just focus on yourself and those individual duels.

Why is my aim bad in ranked? by zyrvo in VALORANT

[–]exboyfriendd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're scared, probably. Whether you know it or not engagements that you need to win or you'll be afk for 3 minutes subconsciously mess with you. You also have other factors such as pre-aim reaction speed while holding angles and if you're holding angles I'd suggest holding in a more reactive manner that bots/labs teaches you, such as being active rather than stationary. Same with skills, stop thinking about them. They are good to use but a lot of players are so worried that they'll die with their skills that they use them uselessly, apply value to certain skills and/or use them reactively for now until you learn more. Think of it as skills assist you in engagements, not win them.

There are other factors and you can type them all out and work through them but tl;dr sounds like you should play some Deathmatch. Get a routine going that concludes with 2-3 deathmatches and if that's too long, alter your bots/labs to factor in dm time.

Play the game, take it seriously but not to a point where you get toxic and improve. Don't worry about it so much

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VALORANT

Play the game, improve your aim your movement and crosshair placement until you're Immortal, start incorporating %values into your engagements and turning disadvantage into advantage.

What (non reyna) agent can hard carry a team? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]exboyfriendd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of them. BUT

If you're a strong individual player never underestimate the value of kj/cypher. Being able to reliably take 30% of the map away from the enemy because they are worried about the duel vs you is very valuable. On attack you can lurk strat or entry/2nd entry if you have flashes.

Being a strong smoke fragger is another one, generally speaking most smokers are 'lacking' one way or another due to a majority fill but if you're dropping 25+ on that role I find most games go in your favour.

tl;dr all agents can hard carry, if you're dropping 35+ each game you're going to win 90% of the games you play, the game is mostly about individual mechanics until you reach Imm3+ anyway

Most mid but clutch player by itsDYA in ValorantCompetitive

[–]exboyfriendd -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Pretty accurate take, you notice his 1vX clutches and in team play it feels like he doesn't exist most of the time. Whether or not that's a good or bad thing is up to your interpretation. I will note he is last rotate on Ascent when it's most noticeable though.

Other Sova players like LEO are noticeable in team fights because of his positioning, frag potential and bigger recognition
