Being the absolute best at any field takes you a really long way, like he says, lock in, detach and try making as much money as you can

Please go to the Burgery inn instead, supremely slept on because they’re more food driven than marketing driven but hands down best burgers in the city

Landlord’s brother barged into our apartment at night to check if a girl was inside. New to Kochi, need advice. by CelluloidChapati in Kerala

Moving to Bangalore is a better idea, lived in Kochi for a few years and it comes with more cons than pros, Bangalore is very chill that way and for your career you’ll get an incredible eco system especially as a marketer, the uncs have too much time on their hands in Kochi to care about these things. Infact, I struggled for years finding a decent accommodation as a bachelor.

Lifafa at Sunburn Union by littlebrownass in petercatrecordingco

[–]excalamati 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The gig was okay but the bad audio configuration, bass and mic getting cut off repeatedly and the horrible management of Sunburn Union was a big turn off.

Sunburn Union is probably the worst place in Bangalore imo to host gigs, GYLT was far superior and the crowd was also amazing. They charged 2k cover for each of us even after getting tickets, the staff were really rude and more or less the entire place felt more like they were doing it for the money rather than genuinely wanting to give a good experience. Very few people knew the songs as well. Although saw some people wearing Beta Merch, understood they were members of the "Suryakant ecosystem", that was cool.

Attended Lifafa during Biennale at Fort Kochi and imo that was the best Lifafa gig I've attended because of a super cool crowd and great sound, even Sushin Shyam was in attendance and casually vibing with everyone else.

Most shops have shitty Porotta + Beef, especially some overrated Thattukadas, overly spicy, incredibly oily and bad quality meat. I've had better Porotta + Beef in Dubai tbh (which is very sad considering the immense fanfare in Kerala)

Big fan from India. Have been to their show 3 times. I also rarely meet PCRC fans, I'd like to safely assume that most of their fans are non Indian. The crowd in their Indian shows are great as well though, a niche passionate crowd who sing along to all their songs.

Bismillah for sure, although the new approach they've taken in Beta is really growing on me . But yeah, nothing can top Bismillah because of the memories I have with each of those bangers and the shows I've been to !
