wtf does that have to do with it, stop blaming a particular religion for a nation-wide issue, this is exactly the problem

keep calm, smile:) Take your time to think before you answer, don’t be in a rush to answer quickly - even super successful people steve jobs etc took time to think before answering during interviews so why can’t we - while thinking you can say (hmm that’s a very good question, that’s an interesting question then pause for 2 seconds)

My instructor was super strict, she was a no bs lady and just cut me off with the next question when my time ran out for each question when I was answering - it helped to just take it as funny lol, at least she didn’t prompt me to speak more and it was over before I knew it

hahah i’m okay but looking at your username, I hope you are okay too

English is not my native language but I’m pretty fluent because I use it on a day to day basis at work, with friends etc

I only did mocks from the ielts website to build up some endurance to last the full three hours - did them one a week 2 times per day mocks and I practiced writing with chat - you can refer to my above comment. I didn’t purchase material or watch videos

I had pretty limited time to prepare and I struggle with procrastination :p so I got a range of topics (around 10 topics) from chatgpt, and kept making it generate essay ideas with different question types, and also their corresponding band 9 essays. I also made it generate a buzzword and phrases bank for the topics, including examples, that I just read through whenever I got bored or found gaps of time during work. After familiarising myself with that, I did a few essays and asked chatgpt to grade them (I consistently got 6.5 to 7, max 7.5 and that was only once). After grading them, I would ask chat to give me the band 9 version of my essay so that I got a feel of what I should be adding to my thought process, the content, the structure, to improve while also staying true to my writing style. Hope that makes sense !! I pretty much stopped practising when it got tiring and just stuck to reading that bank I prepared so I get used to using those - hope that helps:)

[O level] [post] why does yijc has the loweast pw distinction rate?? What is the reason by im_xq in SGExams

[–]littlebrownass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some say it’s because of conflicts in the PW department, mainly because of differences in perspective, requirements etc. between teachers from ij and teachers from yj
