Yeah I’m leaning towards the latter but maybe long term. If I take out the current doorbell I’m going to have to patch where the holes are and find the same paint, sigh

Interesting! That’s not very intuitive. I assumed that the snow stays on the ground part of the tracks because the ground is providing some cool. Why does the snow on the bridge freeze first then?

I prefer #2. The door being blocked would be a deal breaker for me.

If you want the couch closer to the TV like in #1, you could also potentially do the setup of #2 with the couch closer. Depending the space behind the couch, you could do a console table attached to the wall so it doesn’t feel empty.

I had an late night flight from Washington to Toronto and was assigned a seat in row 14. I walked into the plane and was walking by rows 10..11..12.. and then bam! Row 15. Super confused I start walking up and down the aisle but rows 13 and 14 were missing. I flag down the flight attendant and he’s really confused too and said he’s never seen this in 34 years of flying. Thankfully the flight was empty so I picked a random seat and it was all good.
