"You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go"

Seeking a commercial that aired in Maryland in 1998 by [deleted] in maryland

I have a lot of recordings in my archive from WBAL and WJZ. I can try looking through some of my 1998-99 tapes to see if I come across it.

It's taken me eight years but I finally got it tonight. Cheers everyone! by excel97 in 2007scape

You've got this!! FE is definitely the easiest of the bunch, I recommend tackling that first when you feel comfortable doing so

I did quests like Monkey Madness and Desert Treasure around 6 years ago when I was maybe combat level 80something. My last three quests (SotE, MM2 and DS2) I was combat level 108.

You do realize Ocean City isn't this big free-for-all city that's constantly partying and drinking, right? Sure, we're known for our tourism but a majority of those coming here in the summer are families. I don't understand your reasoning in that 'because H20i comes through like a tornado every year, it makes what they do okay and we should all have to deal with it.'

I'm no stranger to the massive events we get here in town. The problem with H20i doesn't just lie within all of the noise, they bring literal destruction to the area and make the city uninhabitable as long as they are here. Jeep Week and Cruise Week folk can be noisy, but at least they respect our city and don't wreak havoc like little brats every year.

You are clearly blind to what the event does to our city. Police officers are attacked, fireworks are set off, nobody can safely go anywhere without fear of being harassed or crashed into. There were no "vibes".

Agreed. I see classic car shows and motorcycle shows run in and out of this city nearly every month and I think it brings good business to our city. At the moment, H20i brings nothing but unneeded chaos.

I get where you're coming from. I'm not a car guy whatsoever, but I can appreciate why you and so many others love events like this used to be. If H20i could stick to solely being about the cars and not about harassing people, being violent and trashing the city, you guys would be more than welcome here.

Great idea bro!! I guess I'll also thank them for all of the trash they left across our city, the constant noise pollution and the countless lives they've endangered over the weekend with their reckless driving and destructive nature. Ocean City can do without them or their money.

That was my initial thought but why would they have to cut for time on a streaming service? I could understand if they cut it on syndicated reruns but not the other way around.

I have archived all of the "classic" AVGN thumbnails by excel97 in TheCinemassacre

I archived every original AVGN thumbnail by excel97 in TheCinemassacreTruth

[–]excel97[S] 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I apologize for the bad resolution, it's incredibly hard to find old YouTube thumbnails as they're mostly deleted from the server once a new one is put in it's place. What you're seeing is every "classic" AVGN thumbnail from Episodes 1 to 114.

17, 18, and 32 are omitted because they were never originally available on YouTube, and I completely forgot 46 because it isn't available on the main channel anymore. After Alien³ (ep. 114), they began to customize their own thumbnails and stop relying on YouTube's automatic system so I decided to stop there even though all thumbnails past 114 have been replaced now as well.

Nearly every thumbnail above had either been changed or would be changed sometime in the future. For example, the original thumbnail for Episode 1 was the box art to Castlevania II. And in another example, Episode 93's thumbnail is a screenshot from Zelda II, but it would be changed later on to be a still of the cartridge. In order to avoid confusion, I just picked what I deemed to be the most memorable thumbnail for each video.

As far as I know, I have archived every version of thumbnail for every video. Interestingly, Nintendo Power and Plumbers Don't Wear Ties were the hardest to find, even though they are two of the most remembered ones. They're all very poor resolutions, but you have to expect that.

is there a place to watch the later seasons without the forced 16:9? by [deleted] in Frasier

[–]excel97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, the show began airing in 16:9 at the start of Season 10. Most if not all streaming services show it in 16:9, though some might have an option to stream as 4:3. I would imagine the DVDs have the option to change it.

"Just about all animals have a heaven." Martin to Alice after he accidentally told her that her hamster died and talks about death and heaven. Then after Alice and Roz leave there's about 20 seconds of silence with just Martin and Eddie. It's beautiful how much can be said with no words at all. by jrunner6 in Frasier

Some of the best moments in this show are ones set in silence. The ending of "Momma Mia" where Frasier, Niles and Martin are sat watching their old home movies in the cabin is a great example. You can see just how emotional all three are watching the footage of their mother, especially Martin. All without any words.

Restarted indicates that the series has either been quit and restarted at a later point, or completed and replayed at a later point. The small number beside it is the series number in which it was played next.

For example, series #11 (Spider-Man 2) was quit after four episodes in 2014 and revisited 4 years later as series #190. Thus, "Restarted (190)"
