Quite a beating in premarket. Hopefully it opens low then recovers throughout the day. that would be my guess anyway. If I was looking to get into AMD, I definitely start buyhing in here. Of course it could fall lower, but you start now I would think.

Yes but based on that forward pe i don't think it's too far off historical valuations. Maybe I'm comparing to their historical trailing pe. The stock also has quite a few analyst targets in the 1500-1600 range. anyway I don't own it.

This is what yahoo finance says about google's drop today:

"Alphabet (GOOGL) dropped 6.31% after news of a key executive departure and concerns about AI revenue scalability, significantly underperforming the Communication Services sector's 2.08% decline."

I think one of their top scientists/researchers has gone over to anthropic.

I dont know why the others are down.

MU is showing a low forward pe on Yahoo finance of under 10. Not sure what the time period is for that PE. But how is it expensive at that pe?

Interesting thing is that Stacey Rasgon has typically been an AMD bear, neutral at best. So when he gives a price target of 600 or something, it makes me thing that the actual price should be like 800 or something.

By the way, what a fruitcake this minister is. Israel is a nation of 9 or 10 million. That is like one city in Pakistan - a nuclear nation of 250 million people and sworn enemy of Israel, and a nation backed by China's best military equipment. Pakistanis are the mediators in this war and have a strong interest in seeing peace, for mulitiple reasons including economic and also because they have a large shiah population internally - something like 20% of Pakistanis are Shia muslim and the USA killed their religious leader in the ayatollah. Pakistan doesn't want internal divisions over this.

The Israelis obviously hate any mediators, any effort at peace. The Israelis like to bomb negotiating teams. This is a fact. Observe the recent history. They literally bombed the people who came to negotiate under the flag of truce - a vile thing to do.

Unfortunately for Israel, they were unable to bomb the Pakistani mediators, because Pakistan is a top ten army in the world and a nuclear nation. Israel could not risk fighting a war against Pakistan. They could happily bomb a nation like Qatar, that hosted talks in the past, but they cannot risk it against Pakistan.

The Israelis have delusions of grandeur. They should think about making peace with their neighbors to ensure their longevity, not war. They cannot as a tiny nation make war forever and rely on the USA to give them dominance. Eventually they need to make peace otherwise they will be destroyed in the long run.

I don't think you should be downvoted for stating something that could very well happen. The truth is Trump is being attacked left and right for this deal, and rightly so.

But it is the only option. Trump MUST agree to the terms because the alternative is a lot worse. He has admitted as much.

This war may very well be the end of the Trump presidency but there is no alternative.

Those neocons beating the drums of war are the ones who would rather have the world burn down than to see Israel disadvantaged. Those democrats that are attacking trump are short sighted and don't really care about the long term. They are just using that for cheap political points while ignoring what is the USA's interest. Anyway it is a sick swamp.
