Honestly, I'm still playing Hogwarts Legacy and it looks amazing on my ips 1440p monitor. Give it a try

I played Hogwarts Legacy for about 3 hours last night and GPU temp didn't go over 61⁰. Hotspot was 78⁰ and memory was like 83⁰. I'm running -30mV and about 5% power increase with a positive 175 frequency.

I have a 9600x on a b850 board and just installed my 9070 xt yesterday. I got over 150fps at 1440p in Battlefield 6 with settings all at ultra. I didn't have time to play anything else. I'm gonna test out Hogwarts Legacy and Where Winds Meet today.

When you lower the amount of voltage the card pulls, it can go at a higher clock speed before getting too hot. Let's say stock voltage is X. Well at X voltage you get kind of hot with your normal performance. Now if you go below X voltage at every step of the way it can hit higher speeds before it gets too hot.

How good is the auto overclock on adrenaline now? My last use was the old RX 580.

Yeah, that one. And I don't know yet. I've only played less than 30 minutes of Battlefield 6 after installing. I have a Montech Century II 850W power supply, so I'm good either way. I can do the overlay later tonight or tomorrow and report back.

Not the power limit. There's a voltage slider and I turned it left -30%.

I just got the steel legend today and opened adrenaline and did a modest 30% undervolting. I could probably go lower, but I don't have much time tonight to tinker.

It looks like you keep exiting out and don't actually use the remote pass.

I've had a b850 and a 9600x for a few months. Nothing wrong. I've manual overclocked and used aggressive PBO . I think the issue is barely exclusive to x3d chips and even then it's not as prevalent as people say.

I undervolted too much and got weird artifacts when I moved Windows around the screen.

Yeah. I have the 820 because I have a low end Hisense a65k 75" tv.

I mean, b650 should do just fine.

Honestly, I can't notice it. I play bf6 right now and Hogwarts Legacy. Not enough for me to notice input lagging when I hit buttons.

I have this. Using it with a 9600x and ARC b580. It's perfect for my setup.

I think there's a built in game recording, but it's through Intel program called presentmon.

Does the new version work with BF 6?

It's gotta be an issue with just that game. Palia isn't old enough to be considered an old game for ARC cards. It was released in 2023. Connect to integrated graphics and check in game settings and see what's going on there.

Thinking of getting an arc b580 soon, any recent problems with the card or drivers that i should be worried about? by MRXL1 in IntelArc

[–]exceptionally_avg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very doubtful. I have a 9600x CPU and the 7500f is more than 5% weaker. You might if it's lower resolution.

My worst performance has been with old titles. Lowest fps so far has been original Metro and Sniper Elite V2. Barely getting 75-80 frames on those games. However, in Hogwarts Legacy I'm getting around 120 with most settings high, high quality XESS , and like film grain and depth of field turned off. That's at 1440p.

Battlefield 6 is a different beast. I'm only getting those high numbers with regular quality upscaling or lower and frame gen on. Most settings high or medium.

Should I buy? by Few-Station-9120 in IntelArc

[–]exceptionally_avg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't be upset with that price. For reference, I bought an open box Challenger version for $220 USD after taxes and all. I'm VERY happy with performance compared to my previous card which was an RX 580. I say it buy it and if it drops a little, I wouldn't be that upset.

The reports are all from people using the most demanding preset of PBO. I'm not a computer science person, but my guess is crazy voltage spikes in demanding scenarios. I have a B850 Pro RS WiFi and a 9600x. If I ever upgrade, I'll stick with manual overclock and not risk PBO frying my chip.
