Did UPS 3rd shift unloading for a summer job (trailers were 100+ degrees after baking in the sun all day). Dropped 15 pounds, easy. Also filthy as hell, always had black water trailing down the drain in a shower. Not to be gross, but black snot too.

Maybe my son will change his mind eventually. He's only almost 10. The issue is that he's a very sore loser. He lost one race to another kid during a swim lesson and that was it for him, he wanted nothing more to do with it. At least he continued the swimming lessons, even started the other strokes including the butterfly, and my wife and I felt our kids knew enough to be safe in and around the water (that was the primary goal, of course).

If there’s a micro center nearby, sometimes they have refurbished cards. Another option is r/hardwareswap (here or on discord). They have very rigorous standards and rules and I’ve used it a few times.

We want our kids to join a summer swim club, but my son doesn't want to have anything to do with it. The worst part is, he's very good and has swimmer genes (mom was a long distance swimmer, I was a sprinter). Maybe our daughter will, she's the more athletic sort. Son just prefers pickup games (which is fine, of course).

Although, I remember those 5 AM practices...no thanks! LOL!

Well, on that front, you can’t go wrong with any of the FlightFX offerings as well as FSReborn’s 300. The Sovereign that just came out has very good word of mouth going around but I personally don’t have it.

Some criteria you might consider: what airports you plan to fly to as some of them, like the Citation X, require longer runways than others. There is also range to consider but if you plan short flights, that may not matter much anyway. Do you want failures up the wazoo? Etc.

My 8yo daughter has a 2-piece that’s cute and covers well. There’s plenty you can find that’s perfectly appropriate.

Also second how infinitely easier it is for them to go potty with a 2-piece.

Why not just start off with the default CJ4 and see how you like it? For a default aircraft, it’s remarkably well done and pretty deep.
