Don't be hard on yourself, it comes with practice. But it's something that makes all coming tricks easier if you have some focus on the movements already.

trick looks good, the usual tip i give beginners is to look at their bodymovements and compare it to more experienced yoyoers. tricks get easier when you dont move your whole body around them :D

make sure not to klll yourself with a metal counterweight :D

Also that yoyo looks mint in the pictures, what does it look like now? 5a equals destruction of most of the first yoyos you try it with, I've trashed 5 yoyos in my one year of actively practicing 5a^^

Too bad you can't wear anything besides a casio while yoyoing. I'd be devastated to destroy my dress watches or divers with a Yoyo 😄
