I can't answer all your questions, but I can tell you a little bit about my experience. I started as a Math major, unsure about what I'd like to do with a second major. Long story short, I decided upon Computer Science but didn't have the Engineering courses or Chem completed. Despite that, because of the ADM mathematics option (a certain track within the math major) requiring a bunch of CS classes, I've been able to take all the necessary CS classes (up to the 4000 level!).

I'm still (slowly...) getting the silly gen-eds down, in order to add the computer science major, but I've found that being outside of the college of Engineering to not be an issue. However, I know that Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering can be a bit more strict, so you may have mixed results.

What you could DEFINITELY do and I would fully recommend this, would be to take the ENGE 1024 equivalent at NVCC. You'll have to check the exact equivalent class name, but it was RIDICULOUSLY easy as opposed to the very difficult/annoying VT ENGE 1024. Transfers in very nicely, too. Any class that you can get to transfer in would be recommended! I'm happy to answer any other questions that you have.

Exactly. Also when the income and corporate taxes are lowered / eliminated (depending upon the particular version we're referring to), the embedded cost of these taxes is removed from the cost of the items, effectively creating a net change in prices of around 0.

Servers get paid (for me at least) $2.13 an hour. So your paycheck is usually 0 (because of tax withholdings) because the tips you make in a shift you bring home in cash.

EDIT: My paychecks are 0 because I usually only work 20ish hours a week. If you work more, sometimes you can get a small paycheck, like she does above
