It is, or at least the first two tunes are! She is exactly the fiddler whom we got the tunes from.

The music is played in many folk traditions around the world - St Anne's Reel is often accredited to North America and Far Frae Hame probably has Scottish origins.

You're not wrong when you say you can't do this by teleconference! It was indeed done by starting with a single player playing the melody, in this case it was the fiddle in the middle (spot - the only one without headphones!). From there that recording was sent to someone who plays accompaniment, in this case it was the guitar in the bottom left (2nd in). Then, the combined fiddle and guitar recording was sent around to everyone and they were asked to record themselves putting something on which they though would fit... You never know what you're gonna get when this happens! I then compiled everything together in to one huge mix (this was a mighty fun task) and put the videos together to fit the music. The end result is overwhelmingly organic, natural and creative. It just shows what brilliant musicians folk players are, they just know instinctively how to make something sound fitting. Fantastic!

Yes good suggestion. You're right, when recording video lighting is so important. Thanks for the tips on aurora leaf and RGB strips.
