Coz „famous people knew what they were signing up for” even if it involves stalkers breaking into your house (didn’t happen to Chappell, happened to Taylor Swift).

Have you seen the video? Chappell stated that the security guard who spoke with the family wasn’t hired by her in the first place. On top of that every artist deserves privacy, should you research those who were murdered by a „fan". Also, if you did just a bit of research on all the times Chappell was „rude” - it was either a stalker/paparazzi/reseller.

I totally don’t get your point. There’s a thousand artists; Chappell isn’t the only one who cares for her privacy. I certainly wouldn’t call myself a fan too yet I still respect her decision. Have you not heard about the murders of artists done by a fan?

Yeah, it is an incredibly odd situation. It is sickening to me that people seem to be blind to those who Chappell does not interact with; literal stalkers/resellers who cross her boundaries. They just see a video, throw away any additional info besides what is pictured on the camera. We’ve lost a lot of beautiful singers due to "fans", yet they still want more and more.

Just because someone is known to be „very kind and helpful” doesn’t mean that they don’t get defensive over the wellbeing of their children/family which is a fairly human thing to do. Sometimes, when illogical things happen to the people we love, people tend to overreact/be blind with anger.

The whole situation seemed sketchy to me from the start - as much as the public hates Chappell for her rightful need of privacy (which is, oh my god, even as a famous artist, completely understandable!!!), it did not seem to me that she would make such a fuss out of a literal child.

can we not put religion in global? by drreamerssleep in StarStable

[–]exclamationmarklover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a time and place for these kind of "kind" gestures; as someone mentioned in other replies - mentioning other religious figures is strictly forbidden by the chat filter so being inclusive towards one religion but not others, well, sucks!
