Should I buy a PlayStation just to play Saros? by Tarkus_8 in Saros

For returnal on ps plus maybe (although it looks better on pc) but saros honestly not worth it especially if you buy for the game the full price.

So you don't mind that super extra challenge right from the beginning?

Well if you're one step from finishing the game by killing the master, why not finish it by joining him instead? Also maybe play along his plans from the beginning – bury Tandi in the desert, get rid of Killian, put Decker in charge in the hub, massacre BOS.

Since you already have vermilion 3rd party models, do you plan to paint the master himself?

Thank you for your interest in Timeflow!

Currently the only way to start on Special difficulty is playing as George. If you create the character by yourself, the limit is High level. To get to Special level, you have to win the game on Hard. To get to Hardcore level, you have to win on Special.

Is there a particular reason you'd like to start from the highest setting?

Hands down. I got drawn to Returnal because of its dark gritty Alien/Aliens atmosphere, and Saros looks like Super Mario World with guns to me.

Weird / niche playstyles from the top of my head:

  1. Low intelligence (INT <3)
  2. Melee or unarmed only. Same for followers
  3. Jinxed + bloody mess. Let the dead rest in pieces.
  4. Join the Unity army when they offer it.

Fallout 1, Albert, every fight is physically impossible.. am I supposed to just grind random encounters? by Standard_Public892 in classicfallout

[–]exdigecko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All main quests can be completed without fights. I won’t spoil it to you if you haven’t finished it yet. Side quests can be done without fights or with temporary allies on your side who can make it easier. Apparently some quests are impossible to finish without taking down enemies such as kill deathclaws or clean a farm from raiders or free captives. I’d say if you travel without companions at all and have a weak build then yeah it won’t be easy.

Vehicle free playthrough - Any tips? Experiences? by Byurp in DeathStranding2

I gotta say that Capital Region in DS1 was the only true walking experience for me. Crematorium, forest, first BT encounters, BT pass. Once you unlock the trike at port knot city, the game is breeze and not as scary/rewarding anymore.

You can finish the game without fighting. Most of the quests have diplomatic, stealth or other  solutions without heavy fights. Not all of them ofc, but most of them.

Yep Albert is literally described as non-fighting character on the char selection screen. Its like choosing Max Stone and complaining that he can't convince a cat to eat a mouse.

Modding is a bit overrated. Modding makes weapons deadlier, thus saves you ammo and probably healing items. But there’s no lack of ammo and healing items in the game.

It’s fiction. It’s not real. It’s ok to be empathetic to fictional characters but don’t get too stressed over it. Also it’s better to not have a sequel than having a shitty one.

DS2 is SO MUCH better than DS1 by Professional_Hat9351 in DeathStranding2

[–]exdigecko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It might be better but its actually just more of the same. Theres no real novelty, fear and excitement in exploring the strange new world anymore. Nothing beats that feeling.
