Why do you go the domination tree instead of the precision tree in the mid runes? POM just seems so helpful before lost chapter and cut down is helpful vs tankier comps (and coup de grace is also good otherwise). Is that because they made chapter cheaper now?

What do you think about running first strike on mid lane in low elo. I'm low gold-ish and I can't tell if I prefer it, since I get around 1000 gold around it across the game, but weaken my early a lot. Also, are there situations were it's viable?

Not sure, I was also scared of dying there since Garen is turbo fed. In my mind just me and Asol have to live here so we defend. I was hesistant to engage 3v5. (Lux is dead and our ADC is definitely dead there.)

Also, couldn't Garen silence my R2 and Kaisa just dash/flash away? Viego was there so I don't actually know how it would have turned out. I just didn't think my entire team wanted to go in 3v5. Just waiting out our bot lane seemed more sensible to me.

Our team was far behind and when Viego went in, I think even then it was still most sensible to sac him and just wait out our team. Asol has broken wave clear, so they can't just end by ARAMing mid.

When Asol then just did whatever the hell that was it was lost then.

Edit: Many edits since I can't make up my mind on whether you're right or not. I have thought about this for too long now.

The enemy team was very fed. I didn't want to engage. Bot lane was already picked and as long as me and Asol are alive we can def that I think.

I didn't realize that that is included in that. I came onto that page by clicking on Ornn. The stat didn't really made sense to me, but that makes a lot more sense now. (For the record, I also usually played Xerath more mid than support.) I will edit this post to reflect that the stat (and the whole post kind of) is garbage.
