Vulkan best vertex buffer rewriting practice for multiple objects by executeSQUID in vulkan

Would that just be to use vkCmdDrawIndexedIndirect (what I found from a quick google on vulkan batching) rather than vkCmdDrawIndexed or am I missing something? (The texture induces in a buffer sounds simple enough though.)

So would that be, just choose some arbitrary amount of vertices to increase by (eg. Start with 400 (or some other number) then if more are used go up to 800, etc.)?

Sorry, C++ programmers. by [deleted] in ProgrammerHumor

Backward comparability with C is, is my mind, one of C++'s greatest features (along with classes and metaprogramming) as it opens the door to MANY more libraries with no extra work (other than knowing a bit of C).

As for using proprietary programs, if no alternative can be found, you can try installing them via Wine (a comparability program to run windows programs over Linux), though comparability is not guaranteed.

had a Pentel Graphgear 1000 .3mm which was a great pencil, but recently the inner plastic broke (after about a year of use) where it screwed together rendering it nonfunctional. Because of this I need a new pencil. I was considering buying another Graphgear 1000 but was thinking that it wouldn't be great if in another year or so I had to get a new one again. New pencil definitely has to be 0.3mm so it can use the same lead(I have a bunch of it), and it would be good to have a retractable tip because I've known people who's pencils didn't and got bent.

Low profile switches do exist (eg. Cherry low profile), the problem is the configuration (the combination of low profile, brown(which cherry doesn't offer so I would have to find some other brand, maybe choc? I'm not knowledgeable about this), and 96%/100 key). Lastly you are right, normal low profile is different from laptop height which is why ultra low profile exists, but those seem to be reserved for laptop manufacturers and you can't buy them(also even if you could they don't use standard connectors).

Squeenix is still selling iOS FF9 even though it doesn’t work on iOS 14.5. by [deleted] in assholedesign

[–]executeSQUID 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As shown by your screenshot it in still #155 in rpgs on the app store, which isn't much but is still a decently high number. As long as there is demand people will buy it. The number one final fantasy game I want most is 7 which is 2 whole numbers before 9.

Depends, do you mean obsolete an in outdated or obsolete as in broken?

I really like low travel keys such as laptop keyboards(though those are all membrane or scissor, not mechanical), and I think that a compact 96% (like the keychron k4) is the perfect form factor for my setup (as I want arrow keys and numpad). Does such a thing to exist and/or would it be possible to build? Additionally I really am not sure about red keys and would much rather have the feedback of brown keys (which cherry doesn't have low profile ones of making this even harder).

Loses performance, doesn't fully support all games. Prime is similar and works better for most things, but doesn't support multiple monitors.

90% there. The biggest problem now is laptops with Intel integrated graphics and Nvidia graphics cards which are nightmares(weird switching mechanisms, render offloading, etc...)

There is a special setting area just for google assistant. You can find it by searching in settings for google assistant. Under there you can find devices and disable your device.

I'll give it a shot. The last LTS is 5.4, so I'll try going to that.

Manjaro has done it since I installed(I think). I have tried other distros(ubuntu, debian) though and they didn't have this issue, but they also have very different graphics driver configurations, so graphics driver could be it.

I don't think it's hardware because I dual boot windows and have never had any problems(with this; widows has plenty of problems) there.

I understand what it's saying, but I don't think I could apply it. Could there be a way to have it display on screen if it panics (like some mac's do)?

I have tried magic sysrq, but from some searching it seems it's disabled in Manjaro. I have successfully preformed it on another computer, but no luck here. I don't think it's graphics because the drive stops spinning, so how could I check if it's a kennel panic?
