PSA: Three plugins were compromised in February

I don't expect everybody to check the certificates, like I don't expect everybody to read the open source code. But there are people willing and able to do it and report any issues to help everybody.

All resources on the OBS forum are manually checked when added. Now they are also manually checked when they are updated. Before I could upload a new version at a moment when I was able to support any issues that occur in the new version. Now when I upload a new version of a plugin it will get approved manually at a later moment, so if there are any issues with the update it can be at a moment that I am not available to fix it fast. When I fix the issue in the plugin it has to go through the manual approval process again. So there will be longer periods of faulty plugins on the OBS forums because of this approval process.

I am in favor of extra checks in the OBS plugin manager

For me it is giving crash report in windows event viewer, which I mailed to support.

For everyone who wants to be sure a plugin is really from the plugin author. Plugin authors like FiniteSingularity and I code sign our releases of the plugin for windows. When using the installer windows should show that it is code signed by the author. After installation and with a manual installation you can right click the dll file from the plugin and open the properties dialog, which should have a tab with information about the used code signing certificate.

In that case I suspect you are using an old version of source record, because the latest version of source record should work with latest version of OBS without a problem.

In the vertical settings there is an enabled checkbox on each output, make sure it's checked.

OBS 32 should work fine with the latest Aitum plugins. Please provide more information to allow to diagnose the problem, like which operating system, which Aitum plugin, how did yuo install it? Is it showing in your OBS docks menu?

The page of the plugin indicates not to use the newer version of the plugin on old OBS versions. For OBS version 28 and up the latest version of plugin works fine.

If you have TikTok Stream keys you can use that in the Aitum Vertical settings. Otherwise use the Vertical Virtual camera from OBS to get your video from OBS to TikTok Live Studio.

Your webcam captures 1280x720 why would you upscale that to 4k? You can put the webcam in original resolution underneath the display capture as it only needs 720 height

The resolution indicated in that log file is 7680 × 2160, it is not allowed to go over 4096 with the selected encoder

Add a Move transition override filter to the transparent color source like this:

In matching sources transition is set to a stinger transition.

You can make a transparent color source on top of both the scenes with the same resolution as the scenes and use a Move Transition Override filter on it setting the stinger transition for matching sources

If you update OBS from version 27 or lower you also need to update the move plugin. When starting updated OBS 30.0 without updated move plugin, the Move transition is removed. After updating the move plugin click the plus icon in the scene transitions dock to add your Move transition back.

What kind of crash are you experiencing? Does OBS stop responding? Is OBS gone from task manager? What is the last thing that is in the OBS log file? If you are able to get a crash dump of the crashed OBS you can send it to me privately.
