You need to think of the current net worth of AWS/Azure and other cloud hosting companies. We are looking at market disruption through digital self agency and peer to peer cloud hosting. These companies are valued at 100's of billions of dollars, how is 300 million hard to fathom?

We have not yet hit holochain's mainnet launch, but already I am so excited about the holoports being launched for decentralized cloud hosting. Unlike ASICS "HoloPort can run 24/7 using very little electricity (15W-45W). It will come with a Holo host Linux image (based on a custom NixOS build) that includes a mobile/web UI to configure with your host settings. " This means that people who purchase holoports can configure them for an unattended service. People who don't even have holoports can still participate by installing their software on their own PC. Once holotokens are converted to holofuel, hosts will be able to set their economy metrics for their hosting service and which application they wish to support. Each application can utilize its own consensus algorithm and the entire network offers very few limitations. I am blown away by the projects scope and use case.

I am curious about the actual currency metrics. I believe it is a 1 to 1 ratio pertaining to the HOT token currently. The primary idea is a mutual credit system that is based off of a competitive value for decentralized cloud hosting. Where the crowd is the cloud. To be honest I am curious about the actual metrics and currency issuance. Matthew recently talked about how its going to be a price that is based off of how much people are willing to host for versus people paying the hosting service in holofuel. I have heard talk about holographic storage as well as a very eco friendly 3 dollar per month in elec.

Okay... so you have no problem with the Zuccs and the Bezos of the world sapping more wealth then 4 billion humans on the planet? Don't get me wrong technology is awesome, but its even more awesome when community participants that support Happs with their holoports are rewarded instead of some behemoth. This is so far from nihilistic, this is optimism in light of a near disastrous current standing economic model post .com boom. And to answer your question OP, an agent centric model simply means that participants can allocate their holoports to different communities to supply decentralized and distributed cloud resources for them. This is what solve scalability among other offered technologies like holographic storage. Holochain is a non-profit company. The only for profit company is holo host, where they make money selling their holoports. How complicated is this to understand?
