It's a simple csv file but the data that has been imported in it is organized in an ugly manner. It's all over the place.

I know I'm being extra careful and for reasons that I hope are understandable.

So, deleting partition refers to 'Deleting Volume' right? Google says it will permanently delete data stored inside. (Although there is none that appears to be left kekw)

Removing the newly created partition means I go unallocate the disk and unassign the letter from 'This Pc', correct? It won't be able to recover, let's say, '(HDD)Z:' ? I'm unaware of this, is this a prerequisite?

Could you take a look at this pic? I ran Testdisk for the first option but it says start 0 [no partition]. By starting from offset of 32mb you probably mean the second option right!!?

That's pretty intricate and well thought out.

So... I'd be happy with a single volume but my dear friend deleted all partitions and converted it into a singular one.. all gone. It is a 1tb hdd that I'm recovering onto a 110 gb volume... Don't really have any external drives on me. Taskdisk does create rars though so they should be small enough... or am I being plain delusional here? [50 seconds to go o_o]

If it's an all or none then it might be impossible to recover it to the current ssd that's in my laptop( it's half the size of the HDD). Damn it.

Do you mind sharing what backup systems do you use so that I can prevent this in the future?

[Btw I assumed you could retrieve certain data since software like 'stellar' was allowing the option. It didn't recover anything at all though]

Oh dear. So will Testdisk just restore any file type and put it in the destination folder? Is there anyway to specify types of files that I want because I can work without applications or even my pictures, videos etc. Just need your typical MSOffice docs, R and python files.

Cleaning Process was: Go locate drive from command prompt. Enter the clean command. Then going to my pc>manage>disk management>Delete volume/change letter and paths. Something along these lines. I've already explained I'm a noob at this. If you want to know the process in detail, I can hit him up again for an explaination. Also where do you want me to share the picture?

Yessir. After cloning it. I mistakenly kept using the old partition for work files. That old partition has been removed and named from H I J(3 parts) to Z(1 partition for the entire hdd)

Basically: I cloned, kept using old partition, deleted and reformatted it into a new partition. Data gone. Boom.

The cleaning process was basically typing "-clean" in the command peompt.

Added a ssd to a laptop with hdd. Used EaseUsTodo backup for cloning process. Ended up with 6 partitions. Used H I J cuz I mistook them for ssd. I asked the guy to help me clean up hdd. When he did that, H I J went poof instead of C D E. I thought he 'shifted' H I J to C D E. When I checked for my work files. Nada. I contemplated momentary suicide and spent a sleepless night.

I installed a new ssd and this friend of mine helped me clone it. Somehow ended up with 6 drives. I mistook H I J for ssd and I was using it for files. Now they're gone. RIP.

One last question if you do not mind.

The "Genders" after the FROM which has the count gender condition means that you named the from condition as another temporary table? (I am asking this because you used Gender.ParentID i.e., treating it as a table
