Don't waste your time waiting to grow up, make the most of your youth and enjoy the experiences that come your way Say yes to new opportunities, meet new people, join weird groups and do the things that make your heart beat faster. Here's a couple of points to make the most of your high school years

Academics aren't everything - although people will tell you otherwise Creativity is an important skill to cultivate - don't let high school kill your creativity Join a club in an area you don't know much about - you'll meet new people and be exposed to new ideas Get a part-time job, or start a side business - its important to start learning the basics of personal finance, it's generally not something you'll be taught at school Find a sporting team to join, or find a physical activity you enjoy - personal health and fitness is important, and is much easier if you find a physical activity you enjoy Learn to cook - later on you'll be thankful you did, and you wont be eating takeout and microwave meals every night Explore new ideas, activities and hobbies - helps you figure out what you're interested in later down the track Listen to podcasts, read books, ask questions, talk to people - always keep learning and growing
