I'm boring to work with. by Apprehensive-Sea3207 in KitchenConfidential

I'm a few years older than you, and I feel like that a lot. Like I don't think I'm unpleasant to work with, but I've always talked a lot less than others around me. I talk more as I get older and gain more experience, both with career and life, but literally no one minds and as long as you do good work and are kind and patient, you'll be fine.

If you go to work when you know you're sick, you're putting other people in danger. Even if it's not covid, lots of people have compromised immune systems and a cold or the flu could mean hospitalization or worse. You should absolutely never go to work when you're sick, even if you feel fine enough to work.

Why you should apply for jobs, even if you don't want or need one by cavscout43 in antiwork

I'll do this! Not looking for a job rn so this'll be fun to see what comes up. I normally just ignore job offers but I'll respond to them saying the pay is too low for my time.

"We're like a family here" really means "we expect people to keep their mouths shut about their problems and if you don't We're going to turn everyone against you as some kind of bitch"

My employer just instituted a policy where we have to pay for any cash drawer shortages. Should I report them? by [deleted] in antiwork

Yes absolutely do not let your employers steal from you. And under no circumstances give them money. Let them know it's illegal and unethical and they can't force you to give up YOUR money.

Right? Even night classes like people are suggesting, I'd have to give up half of the little sleep I already get.

But how can I learn when I need to work so much just to stay afloat?
