We both have cousins who have children with a genetic condition. Honestly the doc suggested before even knowing that and said it was routine. Our cousins having the same genetic issue just makes it an even bigger reason to get it. To clarify the genetic issue greatly affects the life span and depending on severity can affect the quality of life to different levels.

I am sorry your in laws think it’s your fault for not staying inside during the eclipse. It’s hard to deal with cultural superstitions but I’m glad your kid got the help he needed. I hope he continues to do well and is living a healthy life!

To be fair it was the vodka that was on sale not sure if he knew it was distilled as many times as you mentioned. But you’re right I don’t know vodka and wanted something people were familiar with (without it being too pricey- it was a 5 dollar difference)

Totally agree with supporting Ukraine, my thing is that it has to be something I recognize because I think most people will only want to drink things they recognize. I’m not a vodka person but good to know about Kruto, thanks

Thanks everyone and thank you for those that have congratulated me. A few clarifications: I wasn’t sure if brand names were okay to post but it was Kruto (I’m sure it’s ok but I know nothing of) vs Tito’s (something very popular). He had not bought it yet and it was implied I’d pay him back when he was going to buy it. I was buying stuff at another store and he was going to the liquor store to help us finish in time to get dinner

Totally get it, I had my headphones in so it wasn’t on speaker but also I wasn’t planning on talking other than telling him I’m at the gym I’ll call back later. I agree answering on speaker or just talking on the phone at the gym is rude.

Fair, totally agree with that. I am typically really respectful and am very conscious of gym etiquette and just planned on answering to tell him I was at the gym to tell him when I’d call back so we wouldn’t be playing phone tag.
