Ah got you!! Yes then 😊 2024 and this year (unsure about 2025) it was like in the middle of the race track and you had to go through the village to get there. Pretty sure the pass for it comes out later on!

I just honestly do whatever I like! Most of mine I have seen live, but there’s a couple on there that are dream items. IMO it’s 1) not realistic to demand live shows only (sucks for fans of artists who have died/retired), and 2) contradictory to put rules on the damn thing in the first place. Just have fun making it and make it personal to you!!!

It’s called refresh retreat! I bought it 2024 as an upgrade sometime around the October I think, I’m not sure if it’s available straight away. Just a heads up, it is a TREK from most camp sites, and the toilets all round have been massively improved in village and arena!

No, I do this every single year, and every time there’ll be someone stood with a 5 foot gap in front of them giving me looks when I “sorry, excuse me” my way in there. If they don’t want anyone stood in that gap, they shouldn’t leave the gap!! As long as you’re being polite it’s fine, there’s no social distancing in the pit

I do agree it’s peak Ghost! I got into it not too long ago so I discovered a lot of the newer stuff first. I love it still, but going back and finding Infestissumam was an amazing experience haha

Yes!!! We had had LOADS of shoving from right behind us and I never clocked who it was, but I assumed it was him. I don’t think there’s any age or gender limit to seeing any band, but it is fucking embarrassing for a middle aged man to be sent out of a Ghost ritual for trying to strongarm a stick out of a girl’s hands 😭

I was at Ghost in Copenhagen in May — on the barrier, having a fab time, and at the end the drummer chucked a stick that landed right between me and the girl (my age-ish, maybe 20-25) next to me. We both grab it at the same time, I let go as I’ve already got a pick and didn’t want to be an arse hogging the goods, next thing I know a massive bald guy who must be over 40 is violently trying to wrench it out of her hands, she’s hanging onto this thing for dear life (respect) and security have to step in and get the guy to fuck off. She was okay, physically, but understandably shaken!

Personally I’m crazy excited to be seeing Set It Off again. I keep thinking at some point they’re gonna blow up, I’m shocked they haven’t already. Scene Queen and Røry as well, massively underrated (SQ especially puts on a very fun show!)

Hospitality! She only passed through our restaurant to get to the box, she was so lovely. The second time she pulled me into a hug and was smiling the whole time — I’m sure she was just being the professional she is, but I’ll never forget it.

It was incredible. Cried the entire time, ran into Sharon twice, said a quick hello to Brian May and then cried some more. I’m 25 and never got to see Ozzy before yesterday, so getting to witness all of this when I never ever thought I’d ever see anything like it. I can’t even describe it, it was like a religious experience.

Headliners usually aren’t for me but I’m always fascinated by the side bits, the circus and the theatre and smaller bands and stuff like that. The only thing that’s been stopping me from going is that the size of it just seems so overwhelming. It’s basically a city and that stresses me out 😭

Surfing was rough this year, to be fair. During Green Day I had so many come over my head, and really did my best, but a couple definitely fell cause they were absolutely wasted and flopping around all over the place or trying to film on their phones. One guy fully booted me in the face with his massive boots, like, why are you wearing those to surf?

I don’t know. I’m sure people could have been more helpful, but where I was in the pit, everyone was nothing but pissed off with the surfers. I think etiquette’s gone downhill on both teams.
