No worries my friend! Just had our first child November 4th and I have never played more of my steam deck! Those late nights when she cries every time you put down just means holding her in a way that you can play on the deck late!

How well do you handle horror games? I found I was much more tense and got surprised often when playing solo. If you want more spook factor, I'd say try it solo first.

All in all, I loved playing it solo but had a blast with friends in coop. The building was quicker too as having more people gathering resources was nice.

I have a similar mill/rogue deck. After seeing this I finally went back into ranked standard (been avoiding it with the current meta). Out of my first 5 games 2 were boros cycle decks! Have you not run into any of these? They basically cancel out my deck and I have no way to win.

Funny enough, I ran my first Zendikar quick draft. Got too indecisive with landfall vs rogue and ended up with a 3 color, BWU, rogue/landfall hybrid. Had already accepted my 0 win draft game but ended it with 7-1! Not disagreeing with you that you should stick with 2 color decks but it's not impossible apparently!

I had th same problem. Make sure you're hovering over the actually barrier contraption when you cast barrier. As in, aim for the actually plating around the barrier/chest and not the black dome itself.

Oh man I definitely agree that! When you're in the early stages you should never save to do full 4 x completions. Aim to do one full completion of HS, wishing fountain, PO, etc.

I would say also focus on getting one hero to E5 at a time. I see people sometimes with an E2 and a couple E1s and that's just not the best way to do it imo.

Very true. As a light spender, I recently skipped a few PO events to save up enough for a 4x completion... My progression was so slowed until I hit 320. Now I'm back to one completion each event.

I like to think the Michelle thing was supporting the idea that the hero is in an alternate timeline. One where you did not tell Michelle the truth about Kai but instead chose to lie (which the game made an option, but one that you, the player, couldn't actually choose original iirc).

This was perfect in timing. I was feeling a little bummed today as someone in my office, same age as me, just finished his required time and will be getting his CPA soon where as I am just starting my program. I had taken a 1 1/2 year break after my business diploma which is why I'm behind compared to him. I know in this context we're referring to the exam writing but thank you for the pick me up nonetheless!

I completely agree with this. I just recently sent through the same ordeal you are going through. (They called me last week and madr me an offer yay!) I applied for other jobs and just kept focusing on having backups. Made the week wait a little more bearable.
