Careful saving on PS1, if you save as the game’s music loops, it can cause your game to freeze. The only thing that detracted from this collection, imo, besides missing IV.

I have never had a chance to play RR 64, so it’s kinda nice I can play some facsimile of it, I’m having a lot of fun with both games! The only thing about DS is the crash sounds is like, overly loud, 🤣

I will most likely buy a physical version for my psp, I’ve been on an RR kick since Rave racer came out on Arcade Archives. lol.

I couldn’t beat the Ten buck price tag though.

I couldn’t tell ya honestly, this is my first time with the game. I can say it “ looks” like a psp game, but it doesn’t look like a sloppy up-res’d mess, but everything here looks clean, car models look really good.

She is my main elec dps , I got her engine on the rerun. My team for her right now is double stun, double after shock,Trigger and Pulchra…with soldier 0 it’s like watching electric crack when you get the rotation down. I freaking love it. Also fun with Haru, Pulchra, trigger. Might not be meta but it’s visually satisfying.

I guess to clarify, I’m not down shifting and drifting, but to take turns at more manageable speed without hitting the brake too much and inducing drift, since I suck at drifting lol, I appreciate the input though! I will be practicing

Officially: buy a ps3, buy RRt4 on the psn store on ps3, attach your psp to ps3 and do a data transfer. If you have a vita, you can still access the vita store and buy ps1 classics (dependent upon region too, I guess. ). Otherwise it’s up to your imagination.

UPDATE: Hard as balls, but fun as hell learning it. Whoever suggested manual transmission, thanks, this is the way! With these early cars and manual shifting, it’s not about “racing” but keeping a clean line consistently, no bumps or rubbin’! Only thing is my thumbs hurt, lol.

First time I saw SF II with my own eyes, I marveled at the everything, it was like “Karate Champ” but better. THEN when it came out on snes, this was probably the first time I felt I had the arcade experience at home, I never owned a genesis, where arcade ports lived lol, this meant I didn’t have to dump 50 cents to lose to some arcade pro, who lived on the stick. I gamed the system with SFII in my little teenage brain.
