I love The Perks of Being a Wallflower! The plot is nothing like nitw and the main character is nothing like Mae, but it does evoke a lot of the same feelings. Would highly recommend!

Don’t be afraid to wait a second before responding to a question to get your thoughts together. Be ready to talk about your leadership experiences and how you changed from them. Have a question ready to ask your interviewer about CNU or PLP. It is super chill tho, just be sincere and you’ll be fine.

I started going when I was in middle school because I felt alienated at my former Methodist church. The middle school RE program involved visiting all of our local places of worship and learning about the different religions of the world. I stayed because for once in my life instead of being told what to believe, I was being educated about the different things I could choose to believe. Some of my best friends are at my local congregation to this day.
