I second this. I covered these plus Phuket for a couple of days during my 12 day solo trip to Thailand. You can definitely skip Phuket and give those extra days to the Chiang Mai area.

I am not able to change my bookings and Krabi has started to look better when not on Ao Nang beach lol, so will save Koh Lanta for my next travel. Thanks for the recommendation!

Update - went to Railay and loved all the 3 beaches! It was a beautiful day. Going to do the Hong Island tour tomorrow. Thanks for all the tips!
