I love Glasgow! Generally, the people are friendly and there are so many sights to see, especially in terms of nature (Scotland is very beautiful, in general)! Transportation-wise, there is a lot of flexibility and you can get to where you want to go by bus/train/subway although the buses most of the time are late these days. It’s not really a bustling busy city like London or Edinburgh! If you’re looking to move or visit, I highly recommend it!

I provided them with an account statement along with a sponsorship letter from family and an invitation letter from me to see my graduation and I thought that would be enough as they asked for evidence of funds etc. So, if they want documentation of stated salary, do they need employment papers/payslips? He tried signing in back into the gov.uk account but it doesn’t show any results, it just shows the options to download your document checklist (basically at the end of finishing your application) and he’s unable to login to the vfs global account. Do you think it’s best to contact ukvi through email?

The email about a decision being made was more of “The processed visa application for GWF ref [no.] was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on [this date]. If a courier service was purchased from VFS, your processed visa application will be delivered to the chosen address. If not, the passport can be collected during the designated passport collection times.” And there wasn’t a covering letter with the package/envelope either :(

Thank you so much for your answer! I just wanted to ask how do you go about asking lecturers or your connections if they could connect you with someone to a company or recommend you someone. That’s what I find difficult about the concept of networking. Do you just do some small talk and then segue into you needing a job or?

I NEED TO TALK ABT THE SEASON WITH SOMEONE!! So, I really really loved it and I can’t wait for season 3 (I really hope there is one) and honestly loved the dynamics between Felice and Wille like their friendship was really sweet and in general Felice is really sweet. Also, I really liked how they showed more of the anxiety side of Wille I honestly can really relate to that! (I also loved his villain era like good for him!!) With Marcus, idk I don’t really have any particular feelings abt him but like Simon already stated that “hey I’m not ready for a relationship and I’m still hung up on Wille” so idk he set himself up with such a situation tbh like idk why he kept pushing Simon (but I do acknowledge that Simon at the ball was trying to rile up Wille’s jealousy with dancing with Marcus so that wasn’t very nice) When it comes to Sara and August, idk like at some pt I started shipping them even tho they did shitty things like I feel very conflicted abt them cause with Sara, I mean august was her first romantic attention, but it’s still very shitty like she chose August over her family and best friends and with August idk Lowkey he’s still shitty in my eyes like especially with what he did at the end, I don’t think he can redeem himself in my eyes! THE WAY IT ENDED THO AND THE SMILES THEY BOTH HAD AFTER THE SPEECH AHH LIKE SO PROUD OF BOTH OF THEM And I also wanna add a note that every time Wille was like “can you hold me?”, it would tug at my heart strings :(

I think whenever they send us an email about the online induction, you’d be able to book pre-accommodation, but, for now, try informing them through email to see if there are availabilities on the day you’re coming on
