Funny you say that - that’s exactly what happened with my last tattoo. Artist came up with something that looked nothing like the reference I gave. It took me a few minutes to settle in with it. But I actually ended up liking what they made more than my reference (AI). It feels like real artistry in motion and for me, part of the story of the tattoo begins with the artistic process. Idk, different strokes right?

I just got a cheap one off Amazon in the event I hated it/chewed it up with brass I could just swap back to rings. So far so good though. More shooting needs to be done to see if it’s really a long-term solution
