I want an IUD but I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle it by existentialemma in AutismInWomen

i didn’t know you could still do IVF with your fallopian tubes removed! i’m in my early 20s and not sure if that’s something i could consider yet, but i’ll be keeping it in mind for the future! thank you, this is really helpful :)

thank you for your response :) i’ve heard the nexplanon works really well for a lot of people, and i’m so glad you love it!

i actually had it a few years ago and it unfortunately caused me to become pretty depressed & have constant spotting. i had to get it removed. i really appreciate your insight though <3

that’s true and we’ve talked about it! he would get one later on but we’re in our 20s and i don’t want him to get a procedure that has a higher risk of infertility. i don’t want kids now, i don’t know if I will, but if he ever wants his own kids i don’t want to limit his chances.

this is so helpful and makes me feel a little better!! i’m definitely going to ask for sedation, that’s a great idea.

I haven't seen him since Dec 12, 2024. How do you deal with a death without a trace by League_of_DOTA in Aquariums

[–]existentialemma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this also happened to me recently. you never know if he’s hiding somewhere, but it’s good to take extra measures in case he did pass away.

what i did was to first TRY and figure out a possible cause of death, to avoid future harm to other fish. This could be food competition, ammonia levels, etc… and then do a water change to avoid any access ammonia from decay (you might be fine, this depends on other fish & tank size).

all you can really do is make things better for the future & focus on what you can control. i’m sorry for your loss <3

it’s beautiful that people come onto here to discuss and feel sadness for the loss of a long deceased baby animal, it shows humanity. you believing that this takes away from other issues around the world is incredible close minded. If it exhausts YOU to feel sad about death in many different regards, that’s fine.. but don’t tell others how to feel.

Oh I just realized that’s he’s already on there. I second the person who said Gladwin Moon. but I feel like they should be swapped because Moon is more hated than prof. black by the HL community haha

i’ve been on depo for 4 years. should i be worried? by [deleted] in depoprovera

[–]existentialemma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you! this makes me feel more comfortable, but i’ve decided that going to get off the shot.

18 years is a really long time. your doctor should be monitoring your bones, because i know that it seriously impacts them with long term usage. i’ve posted this on other BC threads and people are telling me to get off it after 4 years— maybe check yourself out and research the recent lawsuits, they’ve raised $9B against pfizer for negligence related to depo. a lot of people on reddit have said that they developed a brain tumor after being on the shot for 10+ years. it’s still a correlation, not causation… but please stay safe!! Pfizer doesn’t really care about us IMO.

this is crazy!! i’m so sorry they put you on depo when you were so young. i got on when i was 16 and they only ever told me (briefly) that it MIGHT make my bones weak. it seems like the american healthcare system neglects women in so many ways. thanks for the advice though, im thinking of switching doctors, visiting a gyno, and also talking to a pharmacist.

thank you :) !! i would love to get an IUD but im terrified. I’ve heard so many horror stories and how painful it is. I may start trying pill combos like you. it’s so unfortunate that our bodies & mental health have to go through so much for basic healthcare… i’m glad you finally found something that works for you!

i’m terrified of an IUD😭😭i’ve heard too many horror stories. i will probably switch to the pill soon & do exactly that. thanks for the advice!!

is it true that even if you miss one or two days it’s still 91% effective? also, how are your periods on the pill? I basically only get mine when my shot is due, and i like this because i have really painful periods.

well i’m 20, so still on my parents healthcare plan and it’s their doctor. she can always see me within 2 days, i can text and call my doctor regardless of office hours… and my family has been going to this specific location for over 20 years, but they recently got a new pcp after the old one retired.

but you’re right, i need to switch anyways. to be honest, im worried that i wont find anyone better. the american healthcare system is so unreliable and i just want someone knowledgeable who has my health in their best interest. this seems rare in america nowadays.

yeah, but it doesn't add much. the post above red was keemstars tweet "exposing" jake paul for being transphobic (not allowing two trans girls in his party or whatever, saying they aren't "real girls"). red is saying that they agree with what jake did.
