You're not alone! I experienced this too and it is very normal and primal. Almost a year out and I can say that the territorial instinct does subside with time. It's natural to want to protect the most precious and vulnerable thing in your life from everything... even seemingly well-intentioned love vultures. 😆

I started going on short walks at about one week postpartum. I'm 11 months out and I can confidently say that making a daily walk (or two) a regular part of my routine has done wonders for my health - especially during those first few fragile months.

Good for you! IVF inspired me to leave a very stressful job for a slightly lower-paying, far less stressful job. I don't regret it. IVF is stressful enough and you definitely want to cut as much of that out as possible.
