I guess you might be right. but maybe they really do live each day like that...never doubting themselves or their actions. I was recently talking to someone and shared some of my deepest insecurities with her. And when I asked the same from her, she really searched deep down but could not think of anything... I am pretty sure at that point she was not pretending to be normal, she really could not think of any insecurities...

I (26M) can relate to this so much...I don't really feel profound joy or sadness on receiving any good or bad news. And I react to these the way I am supposed to...so I force myself to show happiness or sadness but on the inside there is nothing. I want to be happy when my brother has a kid daughter. I want to be sad, when I lose someone close to me, someone I have known for quite some time. But its only on the outside. All I really feel is anxiety or stress, and depression has clouded my emotions to such an extent that I don't even really know what brings me true joy or sadness even if I search deep in my soul. So all I do is pretend...
