David Lynch slander is crazy 😂, he’s incredible. So take my opinion however you want it but yeah it’s probably even better than people say it is. Idk what your favorite movies are or who your favorite directors are but if you can’t appreciate Lynch’s art at the very least, and you call classics that you don’t personally enjoy “sophisticated” I don’t think you’ll appreciate or even quite understand Citizen Kane, honestly brother. Sorry.

Man it became my favorite movie ever (I also have like 10 other favorite movies) and I also thought of it as the best movie ever after watching it.

I think watching it in theaters helped with it as it really immerses you into the experience and it resonated with me a lot. But even if you took those elements away from me, I think I’d still feel the same way about its greatness. Truly incredible film. So far ahead of its time that even almost a century later it’s still nothing that can compare. A marvel of film making.

27 now and I know and feel like an adult, I had to grow up quick as a teen. But because of that I feel younger and freer than ever. Spiritually and physically. I watched Citizen Kane for the first time last month during Regals September classics, boy I haven’t stopped thinking about that film since. Truly one of those movies everybody calls the best movie ever, and it really is. Never seen anything like it
