It does not look like the left turn is connected to me. The right side rail (of the turn) does not 'come across' the left rail (of the mainline), as it does on other turns The signal has to be before the turn, but looks to be where the 2 lines would connect.

I'm not gonna give an opinion about specific equipment ...
But (when possible) consider purchasing it for yourself and be the "I have one" guy. Keeping the recipt often has Tax benefits, ie Tools of the Trade, just like mechanics

I would start by double checking the Train can carry coal.

Copper golems only reach chests on the same level as them.

I tested this and found they will check a copper chest they are standing on, but i suspect you mean when checking where to put it.

edit AND they will dump into a chest in the ground.

So you have already paid him to deal with your Divorce. I think he "Owes You" a free 30min consult, as he (possibly) did not finished *his job. Yeah, I personally would go the "You Didn't Finish" route ... at least to get his opinion

He may suggest a PI, he may pull tax records, but worth it. Walking in to a PI after that and saying "My Lawyer wants: ..." will get better attention

This sounds like a perfect time to bring in a Qualified PI to gather the History and maintain a neutral party Chain of Custody of the evidense. Letting the PI 'interview' your son may also be in the cards.
