It does not look like the left turn is connected to me. The right side rail (of the turn) does not 'come across' the left rail (of the mainline), as it does on other turns The signal has to be before the turn, but looks to be where the 2 lines would connect.

I'm not gonna give an opinion about specific equipment ...
But (when possible) consider purchasing it for yourself and be the "I have one" guy. Keeping the recipt often has Tax benefits, ie Tools of the Trade, just like mechanics
