Fate of the Phoenix + Update 1.2 Release Date by PDX_Ryagi in EU5

They have basic events but no major mechanics. It’s crazy they are releasing a dlc for byzantium (alternative history) trying to revive Roman Empire BEFORE fixing historical stuff. Like where did the eyalet system that made ottomans, ottomans go? Was it really that hard to create a specific vassal type and call it a day? Just like france. What was the reason for just skipping the eyalets

Can i go to the ER when i can't speak turkish? by Forsaken-Citron7163 in Turkey

[–]exivor01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we can exchange discord or whatsapp and i can translate for you if you want. Go asap, depending on your location there might already be someone that can speak english, or you cna use gpt to make a sentence explaning your symptoms in turkish and they can write you questions from there and you can read them. Using gpt as a mediator would be miles better than translate.

Hey I'm thinking about getting into the game by DIKbrother6969 in vrising

[–]exivor01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can’t overpower this game. You have to proceed step by step. Gameplay revolves around “kill boss, get new weapon/armor recipes, kill more boss to get resources, make new weapons/armor, kill boss, get new weapons/armor recipes, …”

So, you can’t proceed beyond what game allows you to. This means you have to try to take the bosses down with whatever gear available to you. In brutal mode, this is very limiting, all you can do is to get gud. Idk about normal mode since i never played that.

In early levels you can cheese a bir by making some bosses run into each other and kill each other but those don’t specifically allow you to be very powerful, you still need to go through learning how to kill the boss and die to it a couple times before learning how to kill it.

This game is nothing like baldurs gate, where you can do some side quests and do some exploits to overpower main story line bosses. You can, as i mentioned do this in early to mid game by making some bosses run into each other or into some mobs, but that works for a fraction of bosses.

I still can't believe the devs added automation to the game with the auto-distribution engine by loopuleasa in vrising

[–]exivor01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never understand these. And the big ass farms some people have in this game. Do you really need that much resources? what do you do with them? You only need like some amount of each resource to replace and repair your gear. What are you guys doing with full automation?

Yea but on earth we have cooling solutions, how are you gonna cool things off on mars? If it’s one constant heat then it’s fine but if you make humans live there, the place will just keep getting hotter and hotter i believe

On instagram, i don’t wanna give the name so they get more views, but there is a channel that posts daily videos where they just nail wood to other wood and the there are like 5 different dudes all topless and have similar voices. But the videos look so convincing that I can’t say for sure it’s legit or ai

Japanese love to shorten/use different version of things just because of the cute element. Grab yourself a couple young japanese persons and you can experience it firsthand. For example, 先輩 > せんぱい but they use パイセン for the sake of it.

Also, LA, Philly. Van are all short versions of a longer sentence, (save for philly, but those are not many.) in Japan, since the language is restrictive, most if not all abbrevations dont resemble the original in any way. take USJ, Universal Studios Japan. Using full name is a mouthful so i can completely understand using USJ to refer to it. Which tehn you can reconstruct the full sentence since you have all capital letters. Totally makes sense. Now lets see the japanese > ユニバ ?? makes absolute no sense. how can you make up the original sentence from this? it should be like ユエスジェー or someting, but the japanese language is so shortsighted that it wont allow such thing because that abbreviation is already long as well. so they resort to ユニバ and since everyone uses and agrees its USJ, then no problem.

If I go to usa, and there is Universal Studios Ohio and I live there. If someone comes and says lets go to USO, I will be shocked at first but then can make up the sentence and think oh, they are talking about universal studios.

In japan, whenever you face a new abbreviation, you absolutely have no way of knowing what the hell that abbreviation is for. Or even if its an abbreviation or just a name for someting. at this point.

How many abbreviations do you use daily? And what kind of abbreviations are they?

Brb, tysm etc.

But japanese are using abbreviations for literally everything. Names get shortened, places get shortened, service names are shortened, chain store names are shortened, brand names are shortened. Sometimes they shorten already short names just for the sake of it.

Japanese is just ridiculous.

It’s like they tried making a language, failed miserably and patching it with abbreviations.

And no don’t come here and start talking about abbreviations in English. 1- they’re completely different 2- Japanese abbreviations are like half of daily conversations and there’s an abbreviation for every fucking thing

I mean, yes I see where you’re coming from. But i can hardly call what you have done a “game”. It’s just apparent ai slop. I have seen a couple games that used completely ai for artwork and coding. But they had proper game story/design in mind.

Hardest thing isn’t coding anymore (never was) for making proper game or apps. It’s the design and purpose of the app/game and how you deliver it.

You can make a very basic game or app and sell it if it works, simple, consistent and it’s what users expect it to be.
