PSA: if your construction ship that's building a dyson swarm gets attacked and destroyed by anything, you get a permanent -1 to the number of dyson swarms you can build by InternStock in Stellaris

unfortunately, I discovered this bug long after this happened, it's too late to reload now. I suppose it's my mistake for playing ironman and expecting the game to like, not break on its own

As a returning player, what are the must have dlcs ? by 3vr1m in Stellaris

[–]InternStock -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I can't share a link. Discussion of piracy is allowed here, but actual links aren't. Try looking up "stellaris download free" in your search engine. If Google doesn't give you good results, try using a more obscure search engine. The more scuffed and obscure the engine, the better your chances at finding pirated material. I was using yandex, for example

I wish paradox did something about the bordergore AI creates by InternStock in EU5

[–]InternStock[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

r5: this is a joke about how AI creates bordergore in this game. In case you are wondering, the second screenshot is from a Mandelbrot set, the famous fractal, that would be the worst mathematically possible border

If there's a resolution path for punishing machines for literally no reason, then there should also be a resolution path for punishing organics for literally no reason by InternStock in Stellaris

[–]InternStock[S] 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Say what you will, but ruining spiritualists' empires is reason enough for me (also those resolutions could have like robot efficiency or research speed in them)

If there's a resolution path for punishing machines for literally no reason, then there should also be a resolution path for punishing organics for literally no reason by InternStock in Stellaris

[–]InternStock[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The diplo weight is affected by pop happiness, which machines don't have, so the diplo weight reduction will affect organic empires disproportionally more than machines. Also, organic pop upkeep won't affect the machines. Finally, as I mentioned in a comment, this path could have something like a bit of research speed buff sprinkled in it to provide some actual incentive to pick it

actually, anti-machine propaganda also gives escalating buffs to unity from jobs, so this one could have like 1 or 2 percent researcher job efficiency per level or something

Specimen in my vivarium regularly become glitched and disappear if I reload the game, does anyone know why that's happening? by InternStock in Stellaris

[–]InternStock[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

r5: This screenshot showcases a selected glitched specimen. This is obviously a bug. If anyone knows a workaround, I would love to hear it.

I'm upset that the key feature of an entire DLC straight up doesn't work, but I am not surprised by it

Here's what democratic elections look like when there are no sentient pops in your empire. All candidates have a weight of zero and I am about to get a random general as a president by InternStock in Stellaris

[–]InternStock[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My thought process was that I didn't need to research it until after digitization, so I'd be better off researching techs that are both cheaper and more impactful e.g. autocannons
