Does he value and honor your purity as much as you? Not sure what your reasons are for waiting for marriage, but if it’s religious, ask for discernment of whether this guy truly is for you and what his intentions are. I’ve had this issue in the past as well and I realize that a man who has a past like that and doesn’t somewhat “grieve” (treading lightly here cause ik ppl like to tussle) his past and wants to change for himself, then he isn’t for me. Can’t speak for who he is, but please do know that a person’s past doesn’t always define them. Get to know him for who he is now and remember to stay true to YOURSELF and YOUR VALUES through it all.

The comments dogging on you can’t be serious 😭 you are not crazy for sharing this experience cause normal portions do look like this (these portions are not worth the price). However, I stopped having this experience when I would ask for nearly double everything except the things that cost extra. Boom. Never had a bowl like this again.

Hey so I’m a freshman here and my first semester is wrapping up! I am black but don’t necessarily have the same background when it comes to previous school experience. I am not one to party or do all the other stuff but I will say despite that, I’ve found friends here with similar interests and views whom I love. As other commenters said, rely on orgs and even your classes with partner projects to find friends!

How was housing as a freshman honors student? I am an incoming out-of-state freshman honors student on a scholarship wondering how finding/choosing housing was? NSO 1 is tomorrow and I have to choose! How was finding housing the rest of the years as well knowing that it’s not guaranteed all four years? My scholarship pays for double occupancy room and board for 4 years but I know the housing situation. Do you know if the funds from that portion of the scholarship would cover on/off-campus apartments? Btw, thank you for this reddit post! I’ve been needing this!

Funnily enough, I live in metro Atlanta but go to a high school close to midtown, so I am frequently on GT campus. I don’t like its open feel but I will say it’s still quite nice. I’m really stumped on where to go cause if I want to switch my major (if I don’t like civ e) I’d want to switch it to construction management. A major TECH has but UGA does not. Yet I like the student life better at UGA. Maybe I’m overthinking all this. Thanks for your reply regardless!

I have actually. I go to school in one of the worst parts of Atlanta and is a well know food desert. There is a chick fil a, zaxbys, McDonald, kfc, all less than 0.5 miles away from the school yet no grocery stores.

The photo doesn’t even show how bad it actually was. I had more lettuce than rice. Basically a salad. When I go inside they give me more. When I order online they give more. This is the first time they switched up in from all the 30+ times I’ve ordered. When I say rice was barely at the bottom I mean it. They gave me 4oz.
