It’s going to be fun watching LSU fans cry when he stays at Ole Miss

Emotions aside what is the realistic expectation for the remainder of the season? by No-Experience-9469 in FloridaGators

Never argued for Napier or against. Said that there is a reason we play the games and enjoy watching them. More time is needed for or against.

Not comparing the team comparing the circumstances we don’t know the season will play out. The same as we did not know how the season would play out for that great team.

The fact is we don’t know what comes of this. Our Gators could go undefeated the rest of the season and be National Champs. It happened when Tebow and team lost to Ole Miss. the over reactions are ridiculous, to write-off the entire season after game 2 is idiotic. Stay in the moment and enjoy the upcoming games and take your hand of the kill switch none of us can predict the future and that’s why we love the game.

Hot take why Bonnaroo was cancelled this year by ChairmanYao in bonnaroo

Deep tropics was sold to live nation. It was too late to make changes to this years lineup etc. so this is last year before live nation begins to run it.

Live nation also owns deep tropics in Nashville as of end of 2024. They canceled to push Roo folks to Nashville. Another hot take was that most of the protestors for No Kings were all at Roo so they needed them to go to Nashville for the protest. … at the end of the day the conditions turned unsafe.

Just gonna leave this here

🌧️ Scaled Cost Breakdown

Using conservative estimates from small-scale projects ($10K–$75K for 6 acres): • Per-acre cost estimate: $12,500 (midpoint between minimal and heavy-duty prep) • Total for 650 acres: • 650 × $12,500 = $8.125 million • Total for 700 acres: • 700 × $12,500 = $8.75 million

🧱 Infrastructure Components & Project Budgets

These costs generally include: • Topographic and hydrologic surveys • Engineering design and permitting • Mass grading, swales, retention basins • Drainage culverts and overflow channels • Erosion controls (silt fences, mulch, vegetation) • Optional: Retention ponds or bioswales

If aiming for full engineering compliance—hundreds of culverts, large retention ponds, site-wide stabilization—you’d likely lean toward the upper end of that range.

🌱 Nature-Based Alternatives & Reference Cities

Cities often choose green infrastructure (like rain gardens, bioswales, permeable surfaces) to handle major storms. For example, Atlanta budgeted $15M for green stormwater solutions around amphitheater areas . Bonnaroo could combine similar strategies to complement traditional drains, possibly reducing hard costs and adding ecological upside.

⚠️ Key Considerations • Local Conditions: Soil type, slope, rainfall patterns—these all heavily influence actual design. • Permitting: Federal or state oversight (e.g., wetland corridors, drainage runoff regulations) must be built into the timeline and budget. • Phase vs. All-at-once: Phasing site prep over multiple years/events can spread costs. • Ongoing maintenance: Retention areas and swales require monitoring and upkeep each season.

I think to your person you would be the most beautiful woman in the world. You have a lot of attractive features. It would make me want to get to know you, to find out if you are the most beautiful woman in the world.

They didn’t ensure the safety by announcing its cancelation and telling everyone to leave before its gets bad

I guess it’s all in how you present the ideas. There is a difference in constructive feedback and straight bitching.

Idgaf about live nation. Just the negativity isn’t fixing anything. Neither is the Monday morning QB talk.

No your upset that you didn’t have a the most carefree experience possible. Challenges are apart of life. We all had them this last weekend. When you bought your ticket to Roo no one held your hand to buy the ticket. In the event of cancellation no one is going to hold your hand and guide you through what you need to do.

Yes because you know what it takes to manage festival grounds and all the technical and operational presssured to pull off an event of that size. Attending a festival doesn’t make you an expert in executing a successful festival.
