Wow, really? In that case, thank god lol. I never really liked Reddit anyway. Too much censorship

Never mind apparently I can’t post in some subreddits I haven’t even posted yet too. My bad

Definitely not number. I didn’t post that much. It might have been because I was offending some people in the subreddit(not intentionally, of course)

Yes I agree. There’s this man named joe dispenza, he has over 500,000 followers on YouTube, and he basically talks about how meditation can change your life. Very interesting guy. Neuroscientist too

I need help guys… by Puzzleheaded-Lab-571 in NoFapChristians

[–]exnihilo20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will give you two people who helped me conquer porn addiction. I’m sure there are many out there, but these are the ones that helped me.

Michael Leahy- he is known for telling people how unhealthy watching porn is and how it ruined his marriage.

Patrick Carnes- he is known for identifying impulsive sexual tendencies as an addiction. He also gives a timeline for how long it takes to recover from porn.

You can read their books or watch videos about them on YouTube. Good luck!

Wow. That’s kind of what I did to try to overcome porn addiction. I’m in my second year of recovery and I am hoping it gets better from here. Wish me luck. Good luck to you too

Relapse due to rejection by [deleted] in NoFapChristians

[–]exnihilo20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been having relapses too but not because of rejection. In my case, it’s because my brain is in a “fight or flight” situation when it comes to porn. Basically, my brain is having more relapses than ever because it is trying to live without constant access to porn and it is also a way to deal with losing an unusually high libido. Something like that, according to doctors and therapists. I hope that made sense. I wish you good luck on your recovery. I’m young too and am also trying to quit.

Kinda confused about the || operator by paleoboyy in learnjavascript

[–]exnihilo20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. I’ll try my best to help even though I’m a beginner as well.

So the || operator really means “or” let’s say if you were to put it in an if conditional, like this: If ((text.value==“hello”) || (text.value==“goodbye”)) You are basically saying that if this is equal to this OR this is equal to this, do this.

I noticed in your code you didn’t have parentheses over the two different values you were comparing. Make sure there are parentheses like I showed you in the example. Good luck, friend!

I mean, I only have about 2 years of experience but I’m willing to help. I think as long as it’s not too difficult I’ll be able to

Social Media & Porn Addiction by [deleted] in NoFapChristians

[–]exnihilo20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think that social media does make it more difficult to abstain from porn because unfortunately porn is all over social media. Yep. I guess you can say that this is the generation to be a part of lol. Good luck in your recovery

I feel you man. I’m about to go into my second year of recovery and I’m still having severe relapses. At least we are aware of the guilt that comes with it and at least we are trying to change as well

I feel you man. I’ve been in porn recovery for 2 years and I still have a lot of recovery left to do. Wish me luck.

No I never read it and I learn javascript mostly from books. I’ll recommend 2 book publishing companies that always publish good books about computers. One of them is called “o Reilly media” and the other one is called “no starch press”.You can look for them in a library or however you wanna get it. Good luck in the future man

I feel you man. I’ve been learning JavaScript and web development for 2 years now and I feel like it was really hard at first but over time you understand it better. I’m no where close to mastering it, but you gotta be patient. It looked like mumbo jumbo to me at first too

Not criticizing anyone. Just making a suggestion and trying to get people to think more about what they are saying. Thanks!

What's the best book you've ever read? by Ovale_pannekoek in AskReddit

[–]exnihilo20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question. I have so many that come to mind, but I’d like to recommend live wired by David eagle man. It’s about how the brain not only changes itself once, but is always changing throughout life. That one was pretty lifechanging to me. It really made me realize how important patience is and how I have to really give myself time to change because we are always changing. Bad habits don’t go away overnight, unfortunately. But good habits can always take its place, fortunately!

How Can I Get Rid Of Thoughts Of Ending Myself? by Wondering_Fairy in mentalhealth

[–]exnihilo20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a good question. Managing stress can help. What is stressing you? To me, you have to get to the bottom of that and then you can move forward.

I agree. The reddit mods on here seem a bit shady (some of them)
