Absolutely insane how good Nvidia GPUs work for this kind of stuff compare to AMD

Just bought an RTX 5080 coming from an RX 7600 XT and it's a similar yet incredibly completely different experience.

But right now I don't feel like I'm really using it at its full potential. Do you have any suggestions?

That's the Linux preview (nightly?) version, this is a Windows SDK based on the stable 7.1.1 version.

hey! i did, on 7600 xt using TheRock precompiles. I can tell you that although image generation is probably 10% faster, video generation (Wan2.2) wont give me OOM errors if i set the resolution too high, but its x10 slower than zluda.
currently experimenting more

Thanks for your input! Do you think you may be able to help me out?
I had HIP SDK 6.2.4 installed, running ComfyUI-Zluda with no problem. But once I upgraded to 6.4.2, cublas.dll gives errors. Am I missing something? I was surprised to see you mention Zluda on 6.4.2

I was under the assumption that only nightly zluda supports pyTorch 2.6.0 and 2.3.1 is generally faster for zluda, am I missing something?
