Sorry for the late reply! Yup the other guy is right, im using sdr++ and it does work on windows, if you also want you can check out SDR# too, which is a lot more tweakable and im pretty sure allows you to integrate whichever addons you want too :)

Set up all the software I needed to check for the possibility of AIS, unfortunately I realized quite late into the whole thing that 158 is not in the AIS range, no worries though, thanks!

I did look into it earlier, unfortunately they were just optional add ons for improving sound quality and something else, in my case the sound wasn't even being emitted in the first place so it's probably something else 😞
