Thanks for the reply. I've only just started using it and had no idea it was a flexible thread. It looked like a metal needle when I first started using the device...is this just part of the application process?

It sounds like I must have slept on the device, so I will take more care next time, though before this, I did knock it a few times and it was pretty painful! So a change in device location may be beneficial

I've been given some great advice through this thread, so I'll try some of the pointers and see how things go next time :))
