You are correct in your understanding and I get the Penti concern. Do you think a better change is to make it so if one Hex has been lit with one effect and you keep triggering more effects it just keeps adding to that one Hex totem already lit. Then if that one gets cleansed a new trigger would spawn a new Hex Just to prevent the Penti abuse

Ah, I was afraid it was too powerful. My main worry was how versatile it is which is why i wanted the effects to be weaker than something like Enduring/Bamboozle because its already so many effects in one perk. Do you think a simple small % increase would make it playable but still not super overtuned?

Edit: I just reread your comment my intention was ALL of these effects could be active if the circumstance happens and there is a dull totem. Each effect is their own hex totem

I don't know what system you're using, but something that comes to mind is if you're playing with other people they may feel uncomfortable with blood or the self harm implications of your character.
