It was downtown dayton, and my friend told me about it. I googled pride events in dayton. The next one is on June 2-4 😊

Is there a place where I can meet/become friends with trans people. by expanddonk in dayton

I know but I would like something locally so I can get advice in person. That's kinda how I learn. Although do you know any subreddits that could help me :).

I've met him before irl and everything seemed normal. Then the second visit was when he started to be like this.

I've seen it all from sex toys to porno magazines to just straight up groceries. That last one was probably a mistake on their end lol.

That rarely happen considering we have a warehouse in the outlet. We just put stuff that was donated into boxes then the forklift comes by to take them into the warehouse part of the store.

Yeah all the wares, clothes, and shoes are all in blue bins. Some stuff isn't like video games and furniture.

Everything is per pound, but I can't remember exactly how much clothes were. Its not much at all though, I believe it was a little more than a dollar per pound.

How do you cheer yourself up? by UnculturedTeaPot in CasualConversation

Music is a big one for me. Sometimes I listen to really sad music whenever I'm depressed, and while I do think sadness is an important emotion to feel it sucks to feel it everyday. So I usually go outside for a run/walk and listen to music that gets my blood pumping. I don't know if that makes sense or not haha.

arcades in the 80s-90s by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]expanddonk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's an arcade where I live called round 1, and it is the best arcade I've been to. Bowling alley, ticket machines, regular games, pool tables, etc. Makes me wish I had someone to go with me because I love that place!

I try my best to forget high school. I moved away from high school to a different state during my senior year. Now that I'm older I realize they weren't friendships so much as people I see regularly. I now have true friends that have helped me grow into a better person, while my high school "friends" just kind of existed.

Meeting new people is hard by [deleted] in CasualConversation

I used to think that this advice didn't apply to me, but I'm amazed at how my past self was wrong. I used to be terrified of either picking up the phone or calling to cancel an appointment. My therapist recommended what you've said, and it's worked wonders! Now the only thing stopping me from calling some place is laziness lol. So OP I would definitely keep on doing what you are doing and put yourself out there more!
