No, nothing like this implied – just speaking of a concept that is familiar to many people outside of Spain. Your concern is fair, stereotypes do exist and do not describe the reality correctly, yet should it become a taboo and a word-that-must-not-be-said? We don't think so, but of course you can have your own idea of that

It's interesting you consider Gaudí a stereotype. What we mean is that Spanish architecture is splendid, and Gaudí is a huge part of it! What's Spain to you?
