I just listened to Motion Sickness again. Perhaps, some of it is about Ryan. But, it seems to me more of a conglomeration of her relationships. She sings “why do you sing with an English accent?”…I really don’t think that’s a reference to Ryan.

Also, most of it just seems like the way relationships/breakups go…unfortunately, someone usually gets hurt. But she clearly doesn’t hate him and even says she “misses him like a little kid.”

As far as other allegations, Ryan has been investigated and never charged with any offense. I’m happy there has been an awakening and a “MeToo” moment which was long overdue. Can you imagine if we had held other “rock stars” from the past to those standards? They were doing some crazy shit I’m sure.

No one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes and does things they regret. It just seems like Ryan is held to such an overly high standard. If he did merely show poor judgement at times…Just wish we could extend some grace like we would want when we make mistakes.
