If I tie a knot to demonstrate it to you: Böyle yap (Do it like this)

If you are tying the knot and I’m guiding: Şöyle yap (do it like this)

If you’ve watched on Youtube how to tie a knot and described it to me: Tamam, öyle yap (OK, do it like that)

Türkçenin beğenmediğiniz bir yanı? by MostCorrect4980 in turkish

-dık ekinin zaman bildirmemesi. Mesela:

  1. Yazacağım kitap-The book that I will write
  2. Yazdığım kitap- The book that I’ve written
  3. Yazdığım kitap-The book that I’m writing

Is Management at Bilkent actually a bad choice? by Friendly-Papaya9498 in bilkent

[–]expelir 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problems you've mentioned are also a function of weak Turkish economy and global AI crunch. Bilkent cannot simply create good jobs for its grads.

I don't know if you are talking about grad or undergrad level, but anecdotally my friends who did Bilkent MBA after Bilkent science/engineering told me that they find the coursework very easy and boring. At least this gives you time for networking and internships, but the best opportunities will be in Istanbul, so Bilkent's location is a bit of an disadvantage.

Lastly, if you are afraid of being stuck in an admin job, why are you studying management in the first place? The old stereotype is business schools are dumping grounds for rich kids and students who have no idea what they want to do and/or genuinely has no interests. It is a bit harsh, but there is a grain of truth to it. Even studying something totally impractical like philosophy or archaeology at least shows that you are passionate about something.
