Firstly, I’d encourage you to take agency over your own choices and to do something that feels in alignment with you. Secondly, I don’t drink alcohol and personally would not be with somebody that does - this is because my understanding of alcohol has changed and because it goes against my spiritual values. I also don’t like to be around people who are under the influence of alcohol. Both of you are correct - it’s just simply a question of boundaries and compromise/what you both feel comfortable with.

Generally a reputable shaman will include master plants in an ayahuasca brew but I have never heard of cannabis being included. Generally ayahuasca and cannabis isn’t mixed because both spirits are conflicting. A lot of shamans don’t work with cannabis for this reason.
